  4. RFCs can be obtained via FTP from NIS.NSF.NET, NISC.JVNC.NET, 
  5. VENERA.ISI.EDU, WUARCHIVE.WUSTL.EDU, SRC.DOC.IC.AC.UK,
  6. FTP.CONCERT.NET, FTP.NISC.SRI.COM, or NIC.DDN.MIL.

  8. Details on obtaining RFCs via FTP or EMAIL may be obtained by sending
  9. an EMAIL message to "rfc-info@ISI.EDU" with the message body 
  10. "help: ways_to_get_rfcs".  For example:

  12.         To: rfc-info@ISI.EDU
  13.         Subject: getting rfcs
  14.  
  15.         help: ways_to_get_rfcs
  16.  
  17. Requests for special distribution should be addressed to either the
  18. author of the RFC in question, or to NIC@NIC.DDN.MIL.  Unless
  19. specifically noted otherwise on the RFC itself, all RFCs are for
  20. unlimited distribution.
